Sessions

Pilates transforms the way your body looks, feels and performs. It builds strength without excess bulk, creating a sleek, toned body with slender thighs and a flat abdomen.

It teaches body awareness, good posture and easy, graceful movement. Pilates improves flexibility, agility and economy of motion.

With one on one sessions, you’ll get a completely personalised programme led by a specially trained physio/pilates instructor. This will encorpoartes equipment and floor based work.

Small Groups

Want to join a fun and exciting Pilates class while working on a toned, strong body?

Pilates is a regimen of exercise focusing on the core postural muscles which help keep the body balanced and which are essential to providing support for the spine. Clinical Pilates harnesses physios’ understanding of body mechanics to tailor exercises to your needs.

In particular, Pilates classes teach awareness of breath and alignment of the spine, and aim to strengthen the deep torso muscles.

8 People Max

All classes (max 8 people) are taken by a physio and pilates trained instructor with hands on correction as needed. Our small classes allow us to walk around and correct your movements as needed.

We strongly recommend a 1:1 session (30-45 mins) with one of our instructors before you join any of our casual classes, thus ensuring we are aware of any particular issues you may have and provide you with pilates basics, so that you get the optimum from your classes.

Pilates Equipment Sessions

Small group equipment Pilates class, (max 3/4 people) 6 week block concessions and casual rates available. We also offer 1:1 Pilates equipment sessions.

Matwork Classes

All classes are taken by a physio and pilates trained instructor with hands on correction as needed.

You work through a sequence of movements in different postures from standing to sitting to lying down with your core muscles switched on activated.

Cancer Rehabilitation

Pilates inspire and encourage women & men diagnosed with cancer to regain their physical strength, and endurance and incorporate exercise into their lifestyle.

How It Works For Men

For prostate rehabilitation, the chair helps by:

  • Building endurance quickly: It performs precise, repetitive contractions that are much stronger and more consistent than you can do on your own.

The Process: Physio + Technology

We don't just put you on a chair; we integrate the technology into a structured physiotherapy plan.

Your journey starts with a comprehensive 1-hour assessment. We check your spinal and pelvic alignment and use real-time ultrasound to see exactly how your muscles are firing. From there, we build a tailored rehabilitation plan. You'll get a 5-minute trial on the PelviPower chair during this first session to see how comfortable it is.

This iIf it’s right for you, you will complete a course of 12 x 30-minute sessions on the chair. To ensure your recovery is tracking perfectly, your physiotherapist will do check-ins during your 2nd, 5th, and 8th sessions, finishing with a full 1-hour review and treatment on your 12th session.
